All About Ultrasound & TENS Therapy

Ultrasound Therapy uses high-frequency sound waves to travel deep into the tissues to induce heating which stimulate the tissues within the skin’s surface area and increase the blood flow to the affected area. TENS Therapy generates tiny electrical impulses in the body which block the pain signals from reaching the brain. By stimulating the sensory nerves, TENS can effectively block the pain signals from reaching the central nervous system and release body’s natural pain relievers, endorphins in the body which reduces pain instantly.

How to Use?


1.Connect the power adapter to the wall socket and attach the lead wire to the electrode pad.

2.Now, place the electrode pad on the affected area and apply a layer of ultrasound transmission gel.

3.Long press the power button to switch on the device.

4.Press the mode button to adjust the ultrasound intensity from Low/Medium/High.

5.Press the timer button to adjust the treatment time from 5/10/15

6.Press the “+” Stim button to activate combination therapy and adjust the TENS intensity from 1-25.

7.Simply move the ultrasound head in a circular motion on the affected area of the skin.

No, Unfortunately, you cannot use TENS alone in SONICTENS.

Is SONICTENS a battery-operated device?
No, it is not. It works on the direct power supply with the help of an adapter.

Does SONICTENS work on both 110 and 120 electrical supplies in the US and India?
Yes, it supports both electrical supplies.

How to place the electrode pad during treatment?
Our SONICTENS kit comes with an electrode placement chart which will guide you with the placement of it on the areas of the body.

How long does the adhesive effect of the electrode pads last?
The TENS pads typically last for about 30-40 uses but their lifespan is affected by other factors including skin type, weather conditions, and storage conditions.
